These ruts are found on both level ground and inclines. We only plan on planting in the ruts and not work up the rest of the lawn. Other sections the rut from use is 4 deep with some spots getting to 8 or more inches. I know concrete is easier to maintain but i worry about the above and the fact that it s so hard on their legs without adequate cushion.
